I attack with Persistence

As new budding plants are Seen

The desert sun a danger and yet a Blessing
Always keeps me Guessing

The beauty, substance, and delightful Smell
Mix so Well

Soil and compost darken the Ground
But life within can be Found

Solar collectors keeping the Earth Alive
Only with plants can we Survive

Growing healthy and sprouting Flowers
I am rewarded for how I have spent these Hours

And rejoice in the Shade

Increasing abundance by the Score
And knowing there will be More

So I pick one I can still do so I do not end up Buried

Looking back, I feel Pleased
And soon my weariness is Eased

Is it superior to enjoy a cold ale with a great Book
Or creating you own house near a clear Brook

Is fun more enriching than Motivation
Could our goals be merely ego Inflation

Perhaps the test lies within each Being
And their own truth is what they should be Seeing
.
The Journey becomes the Destination
And success is only limited by your Imagination

We all try to accomplish this, that, and the other Thing
But is this really where we should Begin
.

What should go first and what can be Cut
Doing two percent of fifty things just leaves you in a Rut
.
More common sense than Hocus Pocus
The best path reveals itself through Focus

Tasks are only useful when Complete
And do not require twenty other goals or your home to be Neat
.
Focus on the One
And soon you will be Done
.
The other goals need not Vex
For soon you are moving to the Next

Days when things are finished are not Forgotten
The fresh soon replaces the Rotten

There are many things we love that are Green
Everything from money to moving through the living forest and staying Unseen.
